  • It is a cruise of over a dozen kilometers starting in Ostróda, and for those sailing in the opposite direction − in Stare Jabłonki. Each time, we sail along a charming canal route opened for service in 1876.
  • Along the way, we cross 2 locks by ship (Ostróda and Mała Ruś) and sail through 4 lakes: Drwęckie, Pauzeńskie, Szeląg Wielki, and Szeląg Mały. 
  • Just as the inclined planes are unique on the canal, another exceptional (the only one in Poland!) water structure on this route is the navigable tunnel (under the railway embankment) in Stare Jabłonki.
  • The cruise guarantees unforgettable moments, charming views of the Tabórz Forest trees, and contact with Western Masurian flora and fauna.
  • The Stare Jabłonki marina is located at the pier of a renowned hotel, where beach volleyball tournaments of international rank take place on the nearby shore of Lake Szeląg Mały. Nearby, in the settlement of Buńki, lies the end (or beginning) of the entire Elbląg Canal water system.
  • Fun fact: The Ostróda lock is located in Ostróda, but the Mała Ruś lock is located in the village of Ruś Mała. The ship also passes near a holiday resort named “Arizona”.

Fee for traveling with a pet

A maximum of 3 dogs or other small pets are allowed on board. It is required to bring a leash and a muzzle if the dog requires it. Please have valid vaccination certificates ready for inspection. If the pet transport fee is no longer available in the system, it means we are fully booked. In that case, please select a different time or day.
