  • This is an offer for the persistent, for true nature lovers and the hydrotechnical monuments integrally connected with it.
  • It is the sum of impressions from all possible cruises!
  • Thanks to this journey, we discover the nature and spirit of the canal region and the idea behind the construction of the former Elbląg-Oberland Canal, connecting the forests and lakes of Western Masuria (Oberland’s Ostróda) with the Baltic Sea (the port of Elbląg).
  • It is a route that for decades was sailed by boats, cargo barges, steamers and motorboats, tourist boats and ships, where from dawn to dusk canal rafters floated their rafts. We once again have the opportunity to see the canal as its designer and builder – engineer Georg Jacob Steenke – saw it in the mid-19th century.
  • Sailing persistently, we pass or observe many hydrotechnical structures, such as: two locks (Zielona and Miłomłyn), safety gates (Miłomłyn and Buczyniec), aqueducts, weirs and culverts, numerous historic bridges, and above all, the slipways, which are unique on a global scale – powered entirely by the force of water. Thanks to them, we will be able to “sail across mountains and grass”!
  • The trail will lead us through 11 lakes of various sizes and lengths, such as Ruda Woda (12 km) or Rakówka (300 m). The entire trail is of great natural value, evidenced by the fact that at both its ends (Lake Druzno on the Elbląg side and Lake Drwęckie on the Ostróda side) there are nature reserves belonging to the Natura 2000 network.
  • Thanks to 5 slipways, we overcome a total difference of nearly 99.5 m in water level, and thanks to 2 locks, a total difference of nearly 5.0 m – so during the navigation, the total elevation differences (up and down) will be almost 105 m!
  • It might be as much as 11 hours of sailing – but stories for a lifetime!

A maximum of 10 bicycles are allowed on board. Panniers must be removed from the bike before boarding. If the bicycle fee is no longer available in the system, it means we are fully booked. In that case, please select a different time or day.

The cruise is operated by a double-decker vessel.
On the lower deck, there are 55 seats at tables, while the upper observation deck offers an additional 20 seats.

Seats on the ship are not numbered.

The ship is equipped with a toilet.

A buffet with hot and cold drinks is available on board.

During the cruise, you can take advantage of a lunch or dinner offer, which must be ordered before the cruise by calling: 601 660 330.
