THROUGH THE PATH OF DRWĘCA

The cruise starts in the centre of Ostróda from the marina, which will also constitute our final stop. During the cruise we pass through the Ostróda floodgate the repair of which was completed in 2014 during which it has been enhanced from a manual to an automatic floodgate. Following the gate we enter the lake of Pauzeńskie, which is rich with various bays and peninsulas. The reservoir is very shallow and the lake is a silent zone. The river of Szelążnica enters the lake which flows out from one of the arms of the Elbląski channel, between the lakes of Szeląg Wielki and Pauzeńskie. The river flows mainly through forested area, with a number of obstacles as trees laying across, moreover it is narrow but extremely picturesque.
The cruise is an interesting alternative to all those who do not enjoy active leisure and relaxation. This is a wonderful attraction for all families, especially to the youngest ones who are able to observe the work of the captain of the ship form up close.
